IBANEZ AF-201 AUTO FILTER
For sale we have one of the finest envelope filter pedals ever made, the Ibanez AF-201 Auto Filter. Part of the highly-collectible series that featured the legendary TS-808 Tube Screamer, this isn't an easy pedal to track down. As a result, it's something of a well-kept secret when compared to its more famous relations...Made in Japan in 1981 by Maxon under licence for Ibanez, this is a high quality analogue envelope filter in the grand tradition of the Mu-tron III, the sound of which this pedal at times closely emulates.
This is a great analogue envelope filter (auto-wah) with that wonderful Japanese build quality and attention to detail - made in an era when quality was more important than cost, which is why so few reissue pedals sounds as good as their predecessors.
