Product Description

This is a clearance item (we have too many springs!). It is working but has not been serviced and is supplied "as is" with no warranty. You should assume it will need a clean of pots and sockets and possibly other work to bring it up to full functioning.

Unlike some of the other Hawk reverbs (like the HR-101, HR-202 and HR-45) there are no mic preamps in the Hawk HR-3, so you can't get the overdriven distortion that some of these Hawks provide. However the spring has a good sound - not too dark.

(And yes, once again the name of this Hawk is confusing; it may be called a Hawk HR-3 4-Channel Echo Unit, but it is most definitely just a reverb!)

In excellent cosmetic condition with minimal signs of wear or age across the unit. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.

Voltage Information

100v Japanese model - it will run on North American mains 115/120v without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use. A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU. We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.
