Product Description
We're big fans of all these Hawk spring reverbs; this HR-20 appears one of the first units they made, along with the stereo version: the HR-40. It is less refined and controllable as a reverb that the HR-45 etc, but trades that for a different, and particularly exciting, flavour of overdriven crunch.
Rocking a 1970s Hi-fi look and fierce solid state overdrive, this is sounds like very little made at the time (although there are similarities with some other uncommon 1970s preamps... there's more to say about this at some point :) ). The demo below of the HR-40 gives a good idea of what you'll get.
Supplied serviced including swapping rear sockets for jacks, recapping, power supply overhaul, new mains lead.
