Hammond A100 1968
Brand: Hammond
Sorry it's gone. We may have another in stock or on the way. Please enquire below (or check our weekly Gear Update for incoming rarities).
Here's something we are very pleased to add to to our inventory: a Classic period Hammond tonewheel organ from 1968 in superb condition. Recently serviced and fully working. Fantastic sounding and looking instrument. All original and complete.
This organ is part of a superb collection of gear (mostly early British valve amps) that we are selling on consignment for a customer. He has been collecting gear for over 30 years and has some superb pieces in great condition. Click on the photos to zoom in and see many more detailed and internal shots.
Note that as they are part of a large collection which has been in storage there may be a delay in shipping if a fault is discovered in the final testing (this is not uncommon with vintage gear that has been sat on the shelf). In the event that this happens the organ will be sent to our tech for work and we will keep you updated. If you need further information please get in touch.
The A100 is the same organ as the C3 and B3 but with on board amplifiers and speakers – to quote from Captain Foldback:
"The best B-3's are A-100's" - now what does this statement mean? It points to the fact that a Hammond A-100 organ is in fact the exact same organ as the legendary B-3, and then some. As many may know, the A-100 is the home version of the B-3/C-3 organs. The cabinets of the A-100 models were all, with one exception, tailored for home use: No locking top, built-in speakers and reverb, and a wider selection of wood finishes and stylings. Today, the A-100 series organs have become increasingly sought after because they are generally well kept and less played than B/C-3 organs previously owned by churches or professional musicians. Also, the slimmer profile of the A-100 cabinet (especially the 'plain Jane' A-100 model) is preferred over the B-style cabinet for taking on the road."
SHIPPING: The price of this does not include any shipping. For an instrument like this collection by the buyer would be the preferred option, however the owner may be able to have it delivered depending on delivery location. If you would like to discuss this then please get in touch.

“I’ve bought a number of items from Soundgas recently, and have been really impressed with their service. It takes the stress out of buying vintage gear to know it’s been properly (and faithfully) serviced or restored. Their after-sales service has also been exemplary. Highly recommended.”
