Guyatone Flip FR3000V - CLEARANCE
Brand: Guyatone
Sorry it's gone. We may have another in stock or on the way. Please enquire below (or check our weekly Gear Update for incoming rarities).
Valve reverb based on the classic Fender Reverb. Excellent condition, sounding superb. Very yellow.
Audio demo below of the actual unit for sale.
*CLEARANCE ITEM*
This is a clearance item (we have too many springs!). It has been checked by our tech and is working well - as you can hear in the demo! - but has not been serviced and is supplied "as is" with no warranty.
Released in the late ’90s or early 2000s and now discontinued, the Guyatone FR3000V Japanese pretender to Fender’s crown is solidly built, features NOS tubes, and a long-spring Accutronics tank. Everything suggests a quality unit, and it’s most certainly versatile—with controls not just for input level, reverb volume, and master volume (which yields some saturated tones), but treble and bass controls, as well. The reverb character is quite bright, but it’s a competent performer and feels ready to handle gigging for the next decade.
Can be set for wet-only output via a switch on the rear.
CONDITION: In excellent cosmetic condition with minimal wear or damage. See photo for more information on cosmetic condition.
VOLTAGE:
- 100v Japanese model - it will run fine on North American mains 115/120v without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use.
- A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU.
- We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.
For sales in UK/EU the price will include VAT. VAT-free sales are possible to businesses and individuals in the EU (outside the UK) with a valid VAT Number - please get in touch if you wish to buy this way.

DAVID WRENCH
“I’ve bought a number of items from Soundgas recently, and have been really impressed with their service. It takes the stress out of buying vintage gear to know it’s been properly (and faithfully) serviced or restored. Their after-sales service has also been exemplary. Highly recommended.”
