Fenton Weill Porta-Bass 15
Fenton Weill Porta-Bass 15
Brand: Fenton Weill
Sorry it's gone. We may have another in stock or on the way. Please enquire below (or check our weekly Gear Update for incoming rarities).
Rare 60s or early 70s flip top bass amp/cab. Definitely strongly influenced by Ampeg's iconic Porta-flex amps, but with a stripped down, functional/industrial aesthetic that we really like.
240v
Serviced by us and working very well. Appears to be all original inside. Required some minor component replacements and some valves. Has some low level noise at rest but this is normal for the circuit and definitely not an issue at all once you play through it - this thing is loud! and has a vibrant, aggressive sound cuts through very nicely.
2 channels, volume and tone control on each. More info about the controls etc to follow once we get to demoing it soon.
Quick temporary photos - more to follow. Get in touch if you want first look, but if you buy it then we'll send more shots as required before shipping.

“I’ve bought a number of items from Soundgas recently, and have been really impressed with their service. It takes the stress out of buying vintage gear to know it’s been properly (and faithfully) serviced or restored. Their after-sales service has also been exemplary. Highly recommended.”
TOM JOHNSTON

“Imagine the perfect eBay.... with everything you never knew you wanted… and you can rest assured that your vintage and rare wobbly sound device will turn up on time and in one piece and possibly in even better condition that when it left the workshop. Soundgas - literally amazing."
