Product Description

Fender Japan TL72 F Serial Fujigen Telecaster in black.

Dating from 1986/87 - classic Keef sounds and a Tele that snarls like a good un!

From the fabled Fuji-Gen era when MIJ was often better than USA.: this is a perfect example of just how good the Japanese builders were.

It's full designation is a "Fender Japan Telecaster 1972 model TL72-55".

Has just been freshly set up and restrung and it sounds superb and plays very well.

Condition

In good cosmetic condition with minor damage and wear especially around the edges and corners as you'd expect from a vintage guitar - the lacquer on the fretboard has been removed which makes for a better playing surface in our opinion (Japan Fenders of this vintage often have peeling lacquer). There is some damage on the bottom edge on the back of the guitar. There is some faded lettering above the pickups that could have been from a sticker added and removed by previous owners. Please see photos or get in touch if you require more information on condition but it looks/feels good and plays very well.
