FENDER TELECASTER w CASE 1983 - Fullerton Era
My own 1983 Fender Telecaster, made in the Fullerton factory, complete with case/key/tags/cloth/allen keys etc. It's all-original, aside from a couple of reversible mods noted below (the original parts are included). I've owned this for many years and have enjoyed playing it very much.
It's in excellent overall condition - it's only been used in the studio - there are a couple of small chips in the body paintwork and some scuffs and scratches as you might expect from a used guitar. It had a very easy life for its first two decades or so - I bought it in as-new condition in the early 2000s from someone who'd kept it in the case under his bed, so you're buying a 32 year-old guitar that's only had 12 years' light studio use.
I took it to Xperience Guitars in Nottingham a couple of years ago for a full pro set-up and some improvements - Switchcraft jack socket, new 4 way selector switch for extra stacked 'humbucking' single coil option - the original parts are included with the guitar. It plays beautifully and sounds great - the neck is beautiful.
Additional fault description, courtesy of our resident guitar perfectionist, Joel:
I'm only selling as I have another vintage Tele to fund - I've barely-played this one since I picked up a battered '76 Tele a year or so back which became my go-to guitar - never thought I'd part with this one, but the time's come.
