Farfisa GS42R
Fit IEC mains socket and mounting plate
Clean all pots, sockets and switches
Recap power supply
Replace electrolytic capacitors x2
Repair and secure reverb tank wiring
New EQ switch
Modification for wet only output
PAT test
Missing screws, bolts
Notes:
This is the one with EQ, tremolo and reverb...
Mains inlet replaced as with the other one.
With some cleaning and wiring repairs it’s basically working. Tremolo is pretty nice, EQ is good too,
done with some proper inductors.
(contd.)
Reverb is again not the best, but was at least working after repairing the tank wiring. I have done
something similar to the other one and routed the reverb to channel B (again, defeated by plugging
something in to channel B input 2). This time there is a reverb level control on the front, and this is not
bypassed with this mod. It was quite tricky to work it out as I have no schematic for this model.
