ESE Echomatic VI 6-head tape echo for sale. This is a much treasured piece of gear from Tony's personal collection in our studio and we're only parting with it because we need to fund an "emergency" purchase...

It sounds amazing: the engineering and build quality on this machine are second to none. It has valve preamps and this version with six heads rather than four can only have been made in the smallest quantities. Designed and developed by Eric Snowball of ESE Music, the Echomatic was aimed to create the sounds and effects of the Binsons and Meazzis with great attention to detail and quality. There's no denying that he achieved his goal. I'd wanted to try one of these UK-designed and built machines for years, and when I finally got my hands on one I was far from disappointed. The aim had been to produce the ultimate tape delay; this is an exceptional-sounding machine that performs to the highest standard.

Condition

In excellent cosmetic condition, the face is superb with only minor wear. The tolex is also very clean with some scuffing around the edges and corners. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.

Voltage Information

220/240v unit. A step-up transformer will be required for use on 110/120v supplies. Please ask if you need advice on what to use. We do not recommend using cheap, generic Chinese mains transformers.
