It has valve preamps and this version with six heads rather than four can only have been made in the smallest quantities. Designed and developed by Eric Snowball of ESE Music, the Echomatic was aimed to create the sounds and effects of the Binsons and Meazzis with great attention to detail and quality. There's no denying that he achieved his goal. I'd wanted to try one of these UK-designed and built machines for years, and when I finally got my hands on one I was far from disappointed.
