ESE Echomatic IV
A truly superb tube tape echo - the engineering and build quality on these ESE machines is second to none. Serviced and in excellent working order.
Demos of another unit below - same machine but with a black front panel. Right now we actually have both available so you can choose which you prefer the look of - this one here is a later machine with "Play the Sound" emblazoned on the interior.
This ESE Echomatic IV is for sale fully serviced and in superb working order - it sounds amazing. It has been serviced by our echo tech.
Condition is excellent. It has some small scuffs and dings to the casing corners and there are some other minor signs of use. The magic eye valve is bright and looks stunning.
A little crackle is possible from the switches and pots when it's not been used for a while, but this should clear with use.
Designed and developed by Eric Snowball of ESE Music, the Echomatic was aimed to create the sounds and effects of the Binsons and Meazzis with great attention to detail and quality. There's no denying that he achieved his goal.
I'd wanted to try one of these UK-designed and built machines for years, and when I finally got my hands on one I was far from disappointed. The aim had been to produce the ultimate tape delay; this is an exceptional-sounding machine that performs to the highest standard. Our tape tech said it gets closer to the sound of a Meazzi than any other machine he's worked on (that isn't a Meazzi, obviously!).
This is a UK 240v mains-powered model and will require a step-up transformer for operation in countries with 110-120v mains supplies. We can supply details of the converter you will need if required.
