Classic analogue delay with modulation: a "big box" Electro Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man for sale with original box and all documents.

This is an original 100v unit. It features the highly sought-after dual MN3005 delay chip configuration. It comes complete with box and all papers - even the Electro-Harmonix sticker. Very good condition with the usual scuffs and scratches to the finish. Click on the photos to zoom in.

Sought-after dual MN3005 chip version. Works perfectly, sounds amazing.

Will run off any 24v Centre Negative supply (or you can plug the 100v supply into a transformer - see below for more information).

You only have to plug it in to understand why they became so popular - the addition of a touch of modulation (chorus or vibrato) to the delay makes for the warmest tones - that warm analogue sound that is so seductive.

From subtle slapback to shimmery showers of cascading echoes, this pedal really does live up to the hype. Alternatively you can ramp up the Chorus and for that queasy 'seasick' Boards Of Canada effect.

Those who regularly check our listings will be aware that we're certified delay-addicts with a massive collection tape/disc/bbd rack units, echo boxes and pedals. If you've not tried one before, the Deluxe Memory Man is a revelation: direct into the desk it's reminiscent of a good valve echo, but with a far wider sonic palette; put it into a valve amp and boy does it sound good. This is a very inspiring pedal - just makes you want to play and create - an absolute joy.

Condition is very good with a few scratches and signs of wear to the case, see the photos for details.

  • It is a 100v Japanese model and will run fine on North American mains 115/120v without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use.
  • A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU.
  • We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.

For sales in UK/EU the price will include VAT. VAT-free sales are possible to businesses and individuals in the EU (outside the UK) with a valid VAT Number - please get in touch if you wish to buy this way.
