Product Description
We are pleased to offer this rare vintage Danelectro Guitarlin or Longhorn electric guitar for sale on behalf of the owner’s widow. He maintained it was purchased from Skip Hawkes of the Tremoloes. It's been hanging on their hallway wall for over 40 years and, while it is certainly not mint, it's been saved from extended use from the last 40 years.
The electrics appear to be original and the pickups sound great. Two knobs look to be replacements and there's an old repair to the headstock where the wood had cracked in line with the tuner holes: this appears to be very old and stable. The frets are quite worn and are most likely not original anyway.
We've kept cleaning etc to a minimum and will leave it to the new owner to decide how they wish to restore this lovely guitar.
