For sale: a BOSS DD-3 vintage guitar pedal made In Japan
Blue Label - rare long chip version - with original box
Serial Number LB43816, produced May, 1990 – this is a Version 1 DD-3 and so is effectively the same pedal as the DD-2
In perfect working order and excellent cosmetic condition with only minor scratches to the finish (please see detailed photos).
From bossarea.com:
The early DD-3 is the same pedal as the DD-2. Because of the price drop on DRAM in 1986 it was possible to produce the pedal much cheaper. Dropping the price didn't look so good so it was decided to re-release the DD-2 under the name DD-3 instead. The front of the pedal got a face lift with the re-release.

“I’ve bought a number of items from Soundgas recently, and have been really impressed with their service. It takes the stress out of buying vintage gear to know it’s been properly (and faithfully) serviced or restored. Their after-sales service has also been exemplary. Highly recommended.”
