Boss CE-1 Chorus Ensemble *Mint* + Box
Boss CE-1 Chorus Ensemble *Mint* + Box
Brand: BOSS
Sorry it's gone. We may have another in stock or on the way. Please enquire below (or check our weekly Gear Update for incoming rarities).
Amazing example of the original killer chorus. Very near mint condition with original box. Serviced and working perfectly.
The original chorus pedal: the CE-1 dates from the mid to late 70s. A stone cold classic effect: guitar, keys, synths, bass, mix - this is a great-sounding vintage chorus.

Condition is very near mint - certainly the cleanest one of these we've seen, and we've had a few good ones through. It does not appear to have been used and the finish on the metal case looks fantastic. In terms of flaws it has just slight signs of age on some things like the screws, the tiniest dent in the metal control panel (which is too small to photograph properly), and just a couple of the smallest scuffs on the case - again, you have to get very close to see them and we're being ultra-picky because this is so clean. Please see photos for more info on cosmetic condition.
Price includes VAT at 20% (for sales in UK/EU) - buyers outside the EU please contact us for tax-free prices. VAT-free sales possible to businesses and individuals in the EU (outside the UK) with a valid VAT Number.
- It is a 100v Japanese model and will run fine on North American mains 115/120v without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use.
- A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU.
- We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.

“I’ve bought a number of items from Soundgas recently, and have been really impressed with their service. It takes the stress out of buying vintage gear to know it’s been properly (and faithfully) serviced or restored. Their after-sales service has also been exemplary. Highly recommended.”
