Binson Echorec Drum & Bearing - Refurbished
Binson Echorec Drum & matching bearing - fully refurbished. In excellent condition with minor marks to the silver hammerite finish.
This drum is the larger size and should fit most Binson Echorecs from the mid sixties onwards. It's the version we'd use for an Echorec 2, PE-603-T, B2, B1S, TR-606 etc. It may fit earlier machines (not the Baby) but we can't offer any guarantee.
It has been refinished and rewound with the correct recording wire to a high standard. We get excellent results from our restored machines using these drums.
It must be noted that replacing the drum and realigning the heads is a job for a skilled technician only. To get the best results, it can be necessary to reface the heads before installing a new drum. We cannot accept any returns due to mishandling or misuse.
