Arp Odyssey Model 2813 - SN 73 for auction from the John Paul Jones studio collection.

This has been modified for John with a large joystick for pitchbend and additional controls. It's in excellent condition however, as with most vintage Odysseys of this age, it's a long way from reliable operating condition. The usual bad sliders and iffy contacts abound so this synth will need a deep service to be at its best. It is sold as-found, however we are able to offer a managed repair service on behalf of the winning bidder if required. This will be at additional cost: hard to estimate before a deeper investigation but will not be cheap to do well.

The unit powers up okay and passes audio. There are some dirty pots and sliders across the unit which cause the audio to cut out temporarily. Both oscillators appear to be functioning well and so does the filterbank. Not all functions have been tested thoroughly. 

In superb condition and extremely well kept especially considering its age. There are some signs of wear showing in marks on the faceplate and around the edges of the unit. There is also a large sticker on the right side. Please see photos or get in touch if you require additional information.
