Superb 1977 Japanese Strat from the Matsumoku factory - has had a basic set-up/restring and electronic service and is playing well and sounding great. Condition is good overall, neck straight, see photos for details.
Condition Report: usual signs of age - scratch plate has normal amount of wear - for a 70s guitar. Dirt in pickup 'slots', on knobs and pickup selector. Metal parts beginning to show oxidation. Fretboard has a few minor chips in the finish, and there are chips, dings and scratches in the finish across the whole body in various places. The top edge of the body (where the arm rests) has multiple chips and dents concentrated in a small area, as if someone was consistently knocking it in the same place when storing it. There’s no back plate covering the springs on the rear of the body.

“I’ve bought a number of items from Soundgas recently, and have been really impressed with their service. It takes the stress out of buying vintage gear to know it’s been properly (and faithfully) serviced or restored. Their after-sales service has also been exemplary. Highly recommended.”

“Imagine the perfect eBay.... with everything you never knew you wanted… and you can rest assured that your vintage and rare wobbly sound device will turn up on time and in one piece and possibly in even better condition that when it left the workshop. Soundgas - literally amazing."
