Appears to be unused. Probably came from a store as it came with the original hang tag (included in the sale – very cool – see photo!). The forerunner of the Roland TR-77 to which it is very similar, this is another great-sounding Ace Tone drum machine.

Product Description

The forerunner of the Roland TR-77 to which it is very similar, this is another great-sounding Ace Tone drum machine. It nails those classic, "woody", full-bodied early analogue drum sounds.


Video of some A/B testing of this machine versus a Roland TR-55.

Separate volume control for four different sounds and the ability to stack both the "Latin" rhythms and the "2-Beat/4-Beat" variations on top of the other rhythms give plenty of potential for jamming with this machine.


Ace Tone was started by Ikutaro Kakehashi who went on to found the mighty Roland Corporation. The build quality and attention to detail is generally great – these machines were built to last.

Condition

Exceptional cosmetic condition. The face is superb with only very minor scuffing around the edges. The woodwork is also very clean with minimal scuffing around the sides. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.
