Product Description
Absolutely killer unit. We have only seen a handful of these - one resides in our studio and another is now with Lincoln Barrett, aka High Contrast, who used it on the track at the start of Trainspotting 2 (his vocals, among other things, are through it) - full track and video below - warning: it's not for the faint-hearted!
Dates from the late 1960s - Ace Tone is the company that pre-dates Roland.
Very simple layout and controls. You can apply either the spring reverb or an external effect via the send and return to each of the four channels. Each channel can be switched between line, instrument and mic level input allowing you to switch between different levels of overdriven distortion.
Please note: it is always possible with vintage equipment that some crackly pots/sliders may develop over time when equipment has not been used - even during a short delivery period - this should clear with use or with a bit of switch-cleaning spray.
