Overall it's a good looking machine with some signs of age - the front panel has some oxidation, mainly at the right hand end but other than that only minor scratched. All knob caps are original; a few have chips to the edges of the tops. The rest of the casing and end panels have scuffs and scratches.
We have sold many excellent 808s to satisfied customers so you can buy with confidence.
- It is a 100v Japanese model and will run fine on North American mains 115/120v without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use.
- A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU.
- We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.
