Musitronics Mu-Tron Octave Divider

A monster of a pedal – a genuine Mu-tron Octave Divider dating from the seventies for sale tested and in good working order. As used by 70s rock giants including Neil Young and Jerry Garcia.

From the legendary Musitronics Corporation, this brute was built to withstand everything seventies musicians could throw at it – with a solid aluminium and steel case and chunky rubber control knobs this vintage Made In USA pedal weighs in at over 1.5kg.

In perfect working order – more than ready to continue growling and howling for the next 30-40 years. It has oxidation over the main panel and there are few scuffs and scratches, as you’d expect from a vintage foot pedal that’s about 40 years old, and the knobs are replacements. Not many of these pedals were made and they are hard to find in the UK/EU.

It sounds huge, fat and quite unlike any other octave pedal we’ve tried: the Dan Armstrong-designed Green Ringer circuit takes it to another level entirely – sounds great on guitar & bass…
