Moog Minimoog Model D 1976

A superb-sounding 1976 Minimoog that has just been fully serviced/overhauled. 

For sale in excellent condition overall with no significant cosmetic issues. Some marks to the woodwork, see detailed photos for more information. The keyboard has been completely dismantled and refurbished, power supply recapped, all pots cleaned and the whole instrument tuned, re-calibrated and brought back to top operating condition.

We really like the sound of this Mini, which surprised us as it has the later oscillator board fitted. As a rule we prefer the early oscillator machines, however it definitely has something going on. We do however have a new early board on order and this can be fitted at an additional cost if required.

This Mini is interesting and appears to be a transitional machine – it has the later oscillator but without the extra tuning holes on the back plate. Some internal parts are dated ’75 and some ’76, and the pitch/mod wheels are curious with rounded edges – not like earlier or later models – but they along with everything else appear to be original to the machine.
