We’re tape and disc echo specialists with many years’ experience working with and restoring these machines. Our BBC-trained engineer brings our tape delays up to (or better than) factory spec and our testing ensures machines that have superb reliability and – most important – that they sound incredible. We guarantee our tape echoes will not disappoint.

For sales in UK/EU the price will include VAT. VAT-free sales are possible to businesses and individuals in the EU (outside the UK) with a valid VAT Number – please get in touch if you wish to buy this way.

VOLTAGE INFORMATION:

  • 100v Japanese model
  • For UK/ EU customers (220/240v supplies) we will supply a high quality step-down transformer free of charge with your purchase – let us know if this is not required.
  • On North American mains (115/120v supplies) this unit will run without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use – we recommend these.
  • We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers – please ask if you have any questions about powering this unit.

=======

The Korg Stage Echoes aren’t as well-known as the Roland Space Echo, but the quality is every bit as good and they are up there with our favourite tape delays for both sound and functionality. Both models have great-sounding preamps, and the SE-500 in particular is an uncommon and extremely interesting piece of equipment. They don’t come round very often so if you are interested don’t hang around. Read our new Korg Stage Echo blog post here.

(Please note: it is always possible with vintage equipment that some crackly pots/sliders may develop over time when equipment has not been used – even during shipping – this can usually be easily rectified either by use or judicious application of suitable switch-cleaning spray).
