HH Slider Tape Echo

HH Slider Tape Echo for sale in excellent working condition following a service with our echo specialist. Rare, legendary dub weapon – unique, playable tape echo. One of our favourite echoes – these are highly-prized by dub producers and soundsystems – was the echo used by Bauhaus on Bela Lugosi’s Dead!

Fully-serviced with new parts as required and fitted with a new tape. Short loop version – no difference in sound to the long loop version.

CONDITION: In excellent condition for an HH Slider echo. The face is clean with some minor signs of wear. The knobs themselves are have wear around the edges. The case is clean with some dings and scratches around the corners and edges. Internal surfaces are clean with some patches of oxidation. The screws on the lid have been replaced with black ones. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.

The mighty Jah Shaka famously-used a HH Slider Echo in his dub sound system rig. They are stunning echoes with a great sound that definitely leans towards music with plenty of bottom end – the slider really allows you to “play” the repeats and get creative with the feedback.

Underwater acid dub follow-up to yesterday’s HH Slider post.
