Guyatone AE-5 Analog Echo

A great little vintage BBD analogue echo box. Loads of character, distorts well when overdriven and this one self-oscillates well.

NOTE: This unit is working, but will be serviced properly (dirty pots is the issue with these). It will ship within 5 working days of purchase.

Has two inputs which can be switched from line to mic giving easy access to some excellent, gritty overdriven distortion. Wet+dry output and wet only option. With these units the delays run even when it is heavily overdriven resulting in some great, crunchy feedback.

CONDITION: In excellent cosmetic condition with some minor wear to the face. The tolex is clean with some scuffing around the edges. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.

• It is a 100v Japanese model and will run fine on North American mains 115/120v without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use.
• A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU.
• We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.

Please note: it is always possible with vintage equipment that some crackly pots/sliders may develop over time when equipment has not been used – even during a short delivery period – this should clear with use or with a bit of switch-cleaning spray.
