Dynacord DRS 78 Digital Reverberation System

Superb 12 bit digital reverb and echo. Just back from an overhaul with one of the best engineers in the country – now in excellent working order.

The Dynacord DRS 78 is for sale in excellent cosmetic condition with some very minor scuffs and scratches to the face, mainly around the edges. The knobs do not all match up but are original Dynacord. There is some oxidation around the sides of the case but nothing major. The back has more oxidation and graphics are becoming warped slightly. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.

These are great early digital (12 bit) reverb/delays with a wonderful dark sound – capable of some very atmospheric reverb and lovely crunchy delays – very high quality when released in 1978, and comparable with the sound of the Ursa Major reverb/delays. These delays have a wonderful sound – capable of some very atmospheric reverb and lovely warm organic delays – as with all Dynacord gear, this is a high quality piece. It is exceptionally quiet in operation and is a testament to German design and quality.

There are no known operational faults with this unit. (Please note: it is always possible with vintage equipment that some crackly pots/sliders may develop over time when equipment has not been used – even during shipping – this can usually be easily rectified either by use or judicious application of suitable switch-cleaning spray).
