60s valve disc echo, for sale working superbly and sounding stunning following an extensive rebuild.

NOTE: This Echorec is currently for sale un-modified (except for the swapping of geloso and power sockets). Varispeed and wet-only mod can be added for an extra £500 + VAT. Please request this option upon purchasing this unit if you would like us to fit these modifications. Lead time for the work will be 2 to 3 weeks.

Switchable voltage for worldwide use.

CONDITION: In excellent cosmetic condition for a unit this age. The face is excellent, there are some very minor scratches scattered across the edges and one more notable one below the Channel Selector buttons. The case is clean with the usual signs of wear and age showing around the edges. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.

Varispeed Note: on request his machine can feature our new super-slow varispeed motor option: this offers the full functionality of standard speeds, but with additional super-slow speeds for longer, darker, dirtier repeats. This can get properly gnarly when pushed into distortion at slow speed. We will also fit a wet-only output to channel 3 for use with a mixing console (or effects loop).

Naturally, the axe-slingers amongst you will be drooling over the way these machines languidly exude classic Dave Gilmour/Pink Floyd timbres, but we’re hot under the collar about the way this one reacts to abuse: feed it a hot signal from a drum machine, crank up the input gain and swoon at the rich creamy tube overdrive and filthy distortion on the repeats. Tony’s no stranger to Binson abuse, and he’s been getting busy discovering just how good this one sounds when pushed – demos are doubtless already appearing on our Instagram feed by now.
