Serviced Tascam M-208 eight-channel mixer for sale, upgraded with the Soundgas Direct Out Mod. A compact, high-quality vintage analogue console from the early 1980s, the M-208 is renowned for its musical character, warm preamps, and practical layout – modded and enhanced by us for modern studio workflows.

Our Direct Out Mod converts the tape output jacks for each channel, allowing for easy multitrack recording and integration with audio interfaces or external processors. This upgrade makes the M-208 a powerful front-end for DAW-based setups or analogue summing configurations, without compromising its original tone or simplicity.

Each of the 8 mono channels features a mic/line input, 2-band EQ, pan, aux send, and smooth 60mm faders. There are two stereo return inputs, plus a stereo master section with level, balance, and headphone monitoring.

Recently serviced by our in-house techs, this M-208 is in excellent working order and ready for use in your studio or live setup. Voltage Information

100v Japanese model. For customers on 220/240v supplies we will supply a high quality step-down transformer free of charge with your purchase - let us know if this is not required. On North American mains (115/120v supplies) this unit will run without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use. We do not recommend using cheap, generic Chinese mains transformers - please ask if you have any questions about powering this unit.
