Schulte Compact Phasing ‘A’ vintage analogue phaser for sale - SN 13259
This one has turned out a little wilder than usual. It's still capable of the lush filter-like syrupy phasing these units are renowned for, but the feedback control seems to go a little higher in resonance. Rather than calibrate that out, we've left it as Tony feels it's rather good (he's currently rinsing it on drum machines for the next Soundgas Sample Pack).
It has had a new set of control knobs and, at some point in its life, a new red lamp and of course has had a full overhaul for reliable operation.
Includes original footswich and unique custom controller which unlocks extra 'hidden' functions. This includes what is for us the gamechanger - the ability to manually sweep the frequency; especially effective given how filter-like the Schulte is.
Tony's favourite phaser: often unpredictable, consistently brilliant and unmistakably distinctive. Known as the Krautrock phaser - but so much more than just a vintage/retro piece. Mono in, stereo out - this is one of our favourite studio secret weapons for movement and widening.
