Iconic and legendary drum machine for sale serviced, in full working order and very good cosmetic condition.

Heart Of Glass, Atomic, In The Air Tonight, Same Old Scene, Enola Gay... the distinctive sound of the CR-78 has featured on hundreds of hit records: a truly iconic beatbox that still sounds good today.

Serviced and working well.

Excellent cosmetic condition: there is one small dent on to the front right corner of the 'wooden' case as well as minor dings, scuffs and marks. The face is very clean with just minor signs of age/use. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.

No noisy sliders or pots. It is always possible with vintage equipment that crackly pots/sliders may develop over time when equipment has not been used - even during shipping - this can usually be easily rectified either by a few turns or in extreme cases, with suitable switch-cleaning spray.

• A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU.

• We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required

The First demo below is of this machine with the Monacor Disk Echo. The second is a previous machine we sold.

Roland CR-78 and Monacor Disk Echo plating nicely together. The disk echo is great fun and has bags of character: the recording medium being a circular disk, like a large floppy disc. Both on the site now.
