Brand: Moog
Sorry it's gone. We may have another in stock or on the way. Please enquire below (or check our weekly Gear Update for incoming rarities).
Beautiful in every respect - excellent cosmetic condition and superb working order following a full and sympathetic overhaul by our in-house techs. This is a lovely example with RA Moog boards, including original oscillator board; these early Minis sound glorious and never fail to impress.
Demos below.
1972 Minimoog Model D for sale in excellent condition and superb working order following a comprehensive service - in superb operating condition. In excellent condition for an early Model D, with minor signs of age as you'd expect: this is a vintage instrument - we prefer not to over-restore these beauties. The walnut case is in good order having had a couple of minor repairs. Please see photos for details. The serial number is obscured - we purchased this from a studio in the USA who'd owned it for many years. Demos below - more to follow.
It has been completely dismantled and cleaned internally, all pots cleaned, failing caps or out of spec parts replaced; keyboard dismantled, re-bushed and levelled. The case has been sympathetically repaired in a couple of places and has been lightly polished.
It plays superbly and sounds as wonderful as you'd expect an early Mini to sound - gloriously-rich and powerful, with that larger than life sound you get from a quality vintage analogue synth.
It is set for 110v and may be converted to 240v if required. We can ship in a flightcase (recommended) for an additional fee if required.
Two demos of this Mini sounding pretty epic with the new Gurus Echosex 2 T7E:
