A rare and highly sought-after green-face Electro-Harmonix Electric Mistress pedal for sale in excellent working order and near mint cosmetic condition, complete with original box.

Both David Gilmour of Pink Floyd and Andy Summers of The Police famously used 18v Mistresses as part of their signature sound – just plug a guitar into this pedal and you’ll realise why they are so highly-prized.

CONDITION: Stunning. Near mint. There are a few small dings to the face but nothing that detracts from this pedals superb condition. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.

The 18v Electric Mistress is the best Flanger EH ever made – far superior to the Deluxe and reissue models in many ways.

This pedal sounds fantastic, offering a wide range of quality effects: from subtle chorus-style thickening through classic syrupy-rich flanging to insane psychedelic modulation.

This pedal dates from the late 70s. It’s certainly seen some action but truly sounds fantastic and is built like a tank (made in USA). It wears its battle scars with pride and certainly has mojo aplenty – as you’d expect from a player’s vintage EH pedal (see the detailed photos).

Please be aware that this is a vintage pedal and will not be as clean-sounding as modern boutique and digital units; like many vintage EH pedals (depending on the instrument it’s used with and the signal chain) some volume drop can occur when the effect is engaged; this can often be solved by putting a buffered (ie Boss type) pedal before it in the signal chain (bypassed).

It’s powered by 2 x 9v batteries or 18v power supply (not included). Two new batteries are fitted ready for sale.
