We are honoured to have been asked to handle the sale of some of John Paul Jones‘ recording studio equipment.

JPJ requires little introduction: from his extensive session playing and arranging in the heyday of sixties London to the formation of Led Zeppelin with Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Bonham in 1968, and subsequent production work, to playing in Them Crooked Vultures with Dave Grohl and Josh Homme.
By 1968 John was so busy with session work by day and also writing up to 40 arrangements a month for Mickie Most and Robert Stigwood, that the prospect of joining Jimmy Page’s new band seemed an option for a quieter life!

John is still very active musically - writing, recording and performing - but no longer requires so much studio equipment - most of which he has owned from new.
He feels it should be in the hands of people who will put it to good use, so it is offered here without formal provenance, with the intention that it continues to be used as intended.
