Description
As mentioned above this machine is slightly unusual in that it is located in the USA (with our US tech). So we’re only shipping this one to the USA or Canada – the price you see here includes £75 shipping so you will not be charged any more at check out. It is serviced to our usual high standard and is supplied covered by our standard one year warranty.

Sounding great and working very well following a full service with various new parts as required, including new tape. Heads in excellent condition showing very low wear.
The RE-301 is a great piece of kit: the multi-head echo combinations, Accutronics powered spring reverb, Roland chorus and the Sound On Sound feature all add up to a classic piece of studio gear. A fine example of this iconic machine; Brian Setzer’s favourite tape echo.

REPLACEMENT TAPES: We’ve written a bit about our journeys in tape, which replacement loops to use in your Roland echo (not to mention the misinformation and poor quality tapes that seem to fill the internet). We don’t have tape stock currently, but you can buy tried and tested replacement Roland tape loops from Echo Fix. These are the only tapes we recommend. We may also have a very limited supply of sealed original NOS RT1-L tapes – see our store or get in touch.
There are currently no operational issues with this machine, but please be aware that these units require looking after and that regular use and maintenance are key to keeping this in good working order.
Some crackle is always possible from pots/switches when not used for a while – this can be cleared with use.
Condition
In excellent cosmetic condition. The face is great with little wear. The case is very clean with very few signs of age. Internally this unit is superb, showing minimal oxidation to the chromed surface. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.
Voltage Information
117/120v model. A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU. We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.
