Classic recording amp in excellent condition. Stunning sound.

Fender Champ 5F1 Tweed dating from 1958 for sale.

Good examples of this stone cold classic amp are getting harder to source – people tend to hold onto old amps that deliver big vintage tone at living room levels. Mic this up and marvel at the size of the sound. A Marshall stack in tweed clothing?

Came to us completely untouched internally. It will be given a sympathetic overhaul to make it safe and sound its best. This will primarily comprise recapping, changing the power lead and removing the “death cap”. All original where it counts and in superb working order.

 

 

Condition

In excellent cosmetic condition with some wear around the edges and corners. The faceplate is clean with oxidation spotting to the chrome surface.

Voltage Information

110v model. A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU. We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.
