Ampex 2010 Suitcase Amplifier.

Circa-1960 valve/tube amp for use with Ampex reel to reels. Nils had it modified by his tech for reamping use in the studio.

Working and safety tested but may benefit from a service to get the best from it.

No, we can’t service it – sorry!

Has been converted to 240v but unfortunately did not come with an Ampex power cable so you’ll need to track one down (or get the power socket changed).

This item has come from Nils Frahm’s Saal 3 studio in Funkhaus, Berlin. It comes with a signed and numbered certificate of provenance. Please see above for information on functionality/condition. Assume, unless otherwise specified, that it is working but may be in need of further attention. Auction items are not supplied with any warranty.
