GIBSON GA-8T DISCOVERER TREMOLO
GIBSON GA-8T DISCOVERER TREMOLO
Brand: Gibson
Sorry it's gone. We may have another in stock or on the way. Please enquire below (or check our weekly Gear Update for incoming rarities).
US-made Gibson GA-8T Discoverer Tremolo valve (tube) amp dating from 1962-4 for sale in superb cosmetic condition and excellent working order.
This is a commission sale for one of our customers who personally imported this amp to the UK.
It’s just been serviced and earthed for electrical safety and is sounding superb - a lot of tone from a modest-sized amp - lovely break up, surprisingly-loud, great tremolo.
It is a US 110v model and will require a step-down transformer for use in UK/EU (we do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply high quality UK-made transformers if required).

“I’ve bought a number of items from Soundgas recently, and have been really impressed with their service. It takes the stress out of buying vintage gear to know it’s been properly (and faithfully) serviced or restored. Their after-sales service has also been exemplary. Highly recommended.”

“Imagine the perfect eBay.... with everything you never knew you wanted… and you can rest assured that your vintage and rare wobbly sound device will turn up on time and in one piece and possibly in even better condition that when it left the workshop. Soundgas - literally amazing."
