An eye-catching Japanese lap steel.
Stunning vintage Japanese lap steel. Sounds lovely.
Cased, working well.
This is a stunning looking Lap Steel ‘Guiter’ (as the manufacturer’s plate on the rear of the headstock would have it). We assume it dates from the sixties and it’s a beauty – clean lines, chrome finish, and mother of pearl (faux?) inlays. Comes with a case and is as supplied to us – tested and in good working condition. We’ve not restrung it: Tony has a thing for the sound of old strings so it’s been left as it came to us.
In excellent cosmetic condition with some minor scuffs and scratches to the body. Not restrung. Please see photos or get in touch if you require more information on condition.
