Ultra-rare 3D stereo/quad panner, for sale serviced and in full working order.
Also found under the Dytronics brand.
The Songbird FS-1 Cyclosonic for sale.
Legendary vintage rack effect unit which combines control of panner, exciter and phase shifter to create three dimensional presence and movement in studio quality stereo and/or quad. We love what this does sonically, not to mention the great visual representation via the cycling LEDs.
This was our own studio unit – we love it but (apparently) we can’t keep everything. If you want to hear it in action just listen the soundtrack to Netflix’ “Dark” Series 2 and 3 by Ben Frost – we processed a lot of the sounds you hear in our studio.
In very good cosmetic condition with some scuffs and scratches across the face. There is some minor rack rash to the top of the case. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.
100v Japanese model. For customers on 220/240v supplies we will supply a high quality step-down transformer free of charge with your purchase - let us know if this is not required. On North American mains (115/120v supplies) this unit will run without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use. We do not recommend using cheap, generic Chinese mains transformers - please ask if you have any questions about powering this unit.
For sales in UK the price will include 20% VAT. Buyers elsewhere may incur VAT or other local taxes on import.
A previous unit we sold in action, plus a little excerpt from the Dark sessions – you can see the FS-1 in the rack below the work surface.
