Selmer Tremolo effect unit for sale.
This is the second one of these we’ve ever seen, and there isn’t much information out there about them, beyond that they appear in a 1959 Selmer advert. Designed to be controlled by a separate footswitch, this must have been Selmer’s first foray into making standalone effects. They probably didn’t make many and surely only a handful survive in working condition.
This has had a sympathetic service to get it working and safe. It uses two 12AX7 valves, and it sounds… wonderful.
Good overall. There are signs of age on the casing. The knobs are the correct ones for the unit. Please see photos or get in touch if you require more information on condition.
220/240v unit. A step-up transformer will be required for use on 110/120v supplies. Please ask if you need advice on what to use. We do not recommend using cheap, generic Chinese mains transformers.
For sales in UK the price will include 20% VAT. Buyers elsewhere may incur VAT or other local taxes on import.
