PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Vintage mixer with a great sound and a trick up its sleeve in the form of a built-in BBD echo controlled by three sliders.

Demo of another of these below…

Simpler than some of the Roland mixers we get, this unit looks like it was designed for the home studio/karaoke set up. But these 70s Roland mixers sound great, especially when you overdrive the inputs – can really add punch to DAW beats and synths. We’ve been getting lots of positive feedback from customers using them to add texture and colour to drum machines, synths etc. Check the stock list (link above) for more models.

BBD echo sounds good. Has the usual analogue noise on some settings but repeats are loud and clear so the chips are currently in good health. Glitches and bubbles very nicely and almost tips into feedback and times.

See the detailed photos for more information about the various inputs and controls. The echo can be applied to any of the four channels. Get in touch if you have any questions.

CONDITION: Very good overall. Minor signs of age and use only.

For sales in UK/EU the price will include VAT. VAT-free sales are possible to businesses and individuals in the EU (outside the UK) with a valid VAT Number – please get in touch if you wish to buy this way.
VOLTAGE INFO:
  • It is a 100v Japanese model and will run fine on North American mains 115/120v without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use. You will also need a more powerful transformer (250va) if you are intending you use the internal amp to drive speakers.
  • A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU.
  • We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.
