Roland SH-101 for sale. A chance to get hold of one of these iconic synths backed by our guarantee of your satisfaction.

Serviced including replacing the old dust protectors in the sliders with fresh neoprene.

Midi Upgrade: We can supply and fit a Tubbutec MIDI mod for this unit for £290 + VAT. Please let us know if you would like this option.

Essentially what you have is an analogue monophonic bass synth with more than a little TB-303 sonic influence; they were (and still are) used by a whole slew of electronic music pioneers from rave purveyors 808 State and The Prodigy to industrial noise-mongers Nitzer Ebb and KMFDM to experimentalists Boards of Canada and Squarepusher.

Everyone who knows synth fans who say “I traded mine in the 80s and always regretted it…”

Requires a 9v or 12v DC Centre Negative power supply (no included). Note that you cannot use a cheap switching supply with these (or you will get interference). If you don’t have an old fixed voltage supply then we recommend a new Boss branded one for these.

Condition

In very good cosmetic condition with some minor scuffs to the face. The case is discoloured as shown in the photos. Please see photos or get in touch if you require more information on condition.
