Roland RE-150 Space Echo in excellent working order and very good cosmetic condition.
It has just been given a thorough overhaul and service by our tape echo tech and is in superb working order: calibrated to Roland factory spec and fitted with a new tape. It sounds stunning as a good Space Echo should.
In good cosmetic condition; the face plate, heads and internal surfaces are very clean – it’s increasingly-difficult to find them in this condition. The case has only minor scuffs and marks to the black tolex (see photos for details).
Guaranteed to give reliable service.
Heads in excellent condition showing low wear.
There are no crackly pots or noisy switch issues, though some crackle may develop when it’s not been used for a while – this can usually be rectified by repeated turns of the pot.
Simpler than the 201/301/501 models, this has three replay heads, switchable between single or repeat echoes, and of course varispeed for accurate tempo-matching. Self-oscillation and dub-tastic effects are easily-coaxed from this machine.
There are currently no operational issues with this machine, but please be aware that these units require looking after and that regular use and maintenance are key to keeping this in good working order.

It is a 100v Japanese model and will run fine on North American mains 115/120v without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use.
A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU.
We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.
