This 1970s Roland chorus box obviously shares some DNA with the Boss CE-1, however they are not that similar in terms of the circuit – for example the Boss uses MN3002 chips and this uses MN3001. It’s a pretty simple beast – you can’t vary the speed of the chorus or hall echo (short delay) so it’s really just a case of plugging in and dialling in the intensity of effect required. See below for a useful comparison video between this and the chorus in an RE-301.
In very good cosmetic condition with only minor wear to the face. The knobs are clean with some oxidation and patches of discolouration. The case is in good condition with a couple of patches of wear and damage. Please see photos or get in touch if you require more information on condition.
100v Japanese model - it will run on North American mains 115/120v without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use. A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU. We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.
For sales in UK the price will include 20% VAT. Buyers elsewhere may incur VAT or other local taxes on import.
