Heart Of Glass, Atomic, In The Air Tonight, Same Old Scene, Enola Gay… the distinctive sound of the CR-78 has featured on hundreds of hit records: a truly iconic beatbox that still sounds good today.
Serviced and working well.
Very good cosmetic condition: there’s a ding to the top left front corner of the ‘wooden’ case and a noticeable chip on the right-hand front edge. The Fill Auto/Manual switch lever is a non-original replacement, but looks the part and works very well. Aside from that, there are the usual minor signs of wear and some yellowing of some buttons. The face is very clean with some small scratches and dings dotted about but nothing major. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.

No noisy sliders or pots. It is always possible with vintage equipment that crackly pots/sliders may develop over time when equipment has not been used – even during shipping – this can usually be easily rectified either by a few turns or in extreme cases, with suitable switch-cleaning spray.
