Iconic and legendary drum machine for sale serviced, in full working order and excellent cosmetic condition.

Comes complete with its won high quality bespoke flight case.

Description

This machine is working well and in great condition internally, however it will be serviced and tested in-depth by our techs before shipping. It will ship within 10 working days of purchase.

Heart Of Glass, Atomic, In The Air Tonight, Same Old Scene, Enola Gay… the distinctive sound of the CR-78 has featured on hundreds of hit records: a truly iconic beatbox that still sounds good today.

Note that this machine has had a detachable power cable added in the past. The work is good quality so we have left it in place.

No noisy sliders or pots. It is always possible with vintage equipment that crackly pots/sliders may develop over time when equipment has not been used – even during shipping – this can usually be easily rectified either by a few turns or in extreme cases, with suitable switch-cleaning spray.

Condition

In excellent cosmetic condition with minor oxidation patches and signs of wear to the face. The case is very clean with some dings around the edges. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.

Voltage Information

220/240v unit. A step-up transformer will be required for use on 110/120v supplies. Please ask if you need advice on what to use. We do not recommend using cheap, generic Chinese mains transformers.

For sales in UK/EU, this item is on the margin scheme for second hand goods. VAT-free sales are not possible for this item.
