Description

Pultec EQP-1A Program Equalizer for sale: a true icon with an illustrious history.

Introduced by Pulse Techniques in the 1950s and produced with only slight variations for more than 20 years. The sound that launched a thousand records (and the rest). No further introduction needed.

Serviced by Dr Huw at Soundgas and in full working order; supplied with our standard 3 month warranty.

This unit appears to date from the 50s and has clearly lived a full life – if only gear could talk – what sessions has it been a part of, how many records has it made? If you like things to look crisp and clean, you could replace or repaint the face plate but this is not something we’d choose to do: this is a historic piece with a story to tell and it wears its battle scars with honour. Please check the photos to see the condition and ask any questions before bidding.
