Super-rare drum synth module. Late 70s or early 80s? Unique sound. Modified with separate trigger inputs. The Toms sound especially good.
Video demo from the internet (pretty much the only ones out there!) below. We’ll grab our own very soon.
Sounds: Kick, Snare and open/closed Hi-hats (can be triggered separately), Toms x 3.
Serviced and modified with seven trigger inputs accessed on the front via mini-jack sockets. Trigger inputs work with +5V pulses; tested with a piezo pickup, should work with most inputs.
This unit was originally designed to connect to a set of pads. The other connections you can see are the original mini-DIN sockets (to pads) – these are unreliable hence the separate inputs. The line input just runs straight through (for your backing track!). Built in metronome also present but not exciting.
CONDITION: In excellent cosmetic condition with light signs of wear or age across the unit. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.
For sales in UK/EU the price will include VAT. VAT-free sales are possible to businesses and individuals in the EU (outside the UK) with a valid VAT Number – please get in touch if you wish to buy this way.
Youtube demo below (with thanks to the uploader), but also definitely check out this one from the reliably brilliant/full-on Baseck on twitter as well.
