Description

Vintage Musitronics Mu-tron III for sale.

This is a great analogue envelope filter (auto-wah) from the legendary Musitronics Corporation – built to withstand everything 70s musicians could throw at it – with a solid aluminium and steel case and chunky controls this vintage Made In USA pedal weighs in at over 1.5kg.

It sounds huge, fat and glorious – whatever you choose to put through it: guitar, bass or keys, it exhibits pure bona fide funk credentials. This is the real deal and is still (for us) “the biggest, baddest, funkiest envelope filter of all-time”.

This one took some work to refurbish after it had clearly had a power supply issue in the past that caused some damage. In addition to a new transformer and other minor components we had to replace the dead, obsolete optocouplers. It’s now running well and sounds wonderful.

VOLTAGE: This is a mains-only version. The original US transformer was dead so we have fitted a UK 240v one.

Condition

In very good cosmetic condition, with minor scratches and dings to the case. Knobs are replacements. Please see photos or get in touch if you require more information on condition.

Tax

For sales in UK the price will include 20% VAT. Buyers elsewhere may incur VAT or other local taxes on import.
